Why you can’t find your purpose anywhere

I remember when I reached my early teens, the pressure to figure out what I wanted to do with my life intensified. I was still trying to understand my pulls and callings, but I was sold the illusion that a traditional path was all I needed.

And I feel for it.

I ended up genuinely believing that my purpose was something that already existed. I genuinely thought that I could find something out there in society that would look exactly like what I came here to do.

I knew nothing about purpose. I wouldn’t even call it that way because I didn’t know what it meant. The only thing I had was that deep inner knowing that I had a mission to fulfil.

So I moved, and I tried. The best way a 12-year-old girl who had heard and read nothing about purpose knew how to move. Kept trying pre-established paths, hoping that one would finally feel right.

I stayed stuck in that lie until my early 20s.

Now looking back, it feels like the Universe was screaming at me. The signs were there. Hell, the pulls and knowings were there, but I didn’t know what to do with them, didn’t know what they meant.

So I copied what I saw around me. I thought that was the only way, because that’s the only narrative I received. But it’s not an approach that works for an ancient soul.

Your purpose doesn’t exist in this world. It exists within you.

You can’t go out there and find it. You have to remember and create it.

Your soul did not come here to fit a box. You didn’t come here to fit a version of whatever’s already in society.

Your path, your purpose, your mission — is unique to you. It is encoded in your soul.

That’s why you can’t find it. It’s not out there. Your soul is the only one that knows.

You will not find two soul missions that look the same. They're unique to every single soul that incarnates on this earth.

Stop trying to find it outside of you and start listening to what your soul has been telling you all along. That’s the only roadmap you need.

This was never about finding anything, but remembering what our souls already know.
